Statement of Faith

that human beings are designed to glorify God and worship Him forever;
that the authoritative Word of God, identified as the Bible, and the Holy Spirit, are active and alive, directing us to glorify and enjoy Him;
that there is only one God;
that there are three persons in the Godhead, referred to as the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory;
that when God created man, He entered into a New Covenant of life with him resulting in a lifestyle of love and obedience;
that because of Adam, all mankind sinned, and fell with him in his first transgression;
that the Fall brought mankind into a state of sin and misery;
that God entered into a covenant of grace, to deliver man out of the state of sin and misery, and to bring him into a state of salvation by a Redeemer;
that the only Redeemer of mankind is the Lord Jesus Christ, who, being the Son of God, became man, and continues to be God and man in two distinct natures, and one person, forever;
that the Spirit leads us to redemption purchased by Christ, by working faith in us;
that we are called and identified as believers to enjoy justification, adoption, and sanctification with all of the benefits which accompany or flow from them;
and that at the resurrection, when believers are raised up in glory, we shall be openly acknowledged and acquitted in the day of judgment.
